Had a great experience with Christian at Affordable Appliance Repair.
He showed up on time and was able to successfully troubleshoot and fix the issue (Bosch dishwasher repair.) The job was completed quickly and efficiently. I’d absolutely work with them again!
Our family has relied on Chris for over 10 years. He is efficient, professional and fair. He has saved us a lot of money over this time by repairing vs replacing expensive appliances. He has a network of customers in the region. We feel fortunate to have found him and I am happy to recommend him.
Having purchased a suite of appliance after a major home renovation in 2012 I had failed to anticipate that one day I might face a series of major appliance failures in rapid succession, but so I did: first the dryer, followed soon there after by the washer and next the dishwasher.
It was a situation made manageable because I has Christian's number on hand and could count of his prompt response to each crisis and a fast and accurate diagnosis and repair. Cannot recommended him more highly. Prompt, professional, fair, and a pleasure to do business with.
I want of first say that Christian did repair our refrigerator and if I was rating this company for the actual repair I would've given 5 stars. The valve to the built in water and ice maker was leaking water and needed to be replaced. When he came back with the valve, there was a problem with the hose. Then when he came back to replace the hose, the jug that is stored inside of the door where the water sits before it's dispensed (it keeps the water cold) had a crack and was leaking. I had to call them back after a week because I never heard back about the jug. It wound up that Sears no longer made the product available so he had to insert a hose to prevent it from leaking. All in all it took 4 visits to fix and cost me a total of $460. The parts total was $114 and the remaining $346 was for labor, shipping for the parts ($12) and tax. What I didn't understand after the first visit was that every time he showed up, he was going to charge us for another service call. Considering he probably spent a total of two hours here over the four visits, I feel the fee was excessive. Had I known ahead of time that it was going to cost me $460 to repair it, I probably would've spent the extra money and replaced it since it's 12 years old.
