Extremely Disappointed – Untrustworthy and Unprofessional My experience with Aerus of Rutland has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly caution others from using their services. Here’s why: • Unethical Sales Tactics: During the site visit, I was given a quote with specific pricing and discounts—for example, a water conditioner originally priced at $4,000 with a discount bringing it to $3,200, and a UV system quoted at $2,509 reduced to $2,000. Later, I received a revised quote that falsely claimed to offer a 25% discount—yet the total was more expensive than the original. This tactic of inflating prices to create the illusion of savings is misleading and dishonest. • Delayed and Inaccurate Results: There were extreme delays in receiving test results, and on multiple occasions, my property was confused with another. This not only delayed the process but also raised serious concerns about the reliability of their testing and reporting. • Lack of Professionalism: The communication has been inconsistent, and attempts to resolve the situation were met with vague responses and shifting information. The company appears more interested in closing a sale than in genuinely helping customers resolve health or safety concerns related to their water quality. Overall, Aerus has demonstrated a lack of integrity, poor internal systems, and a disregard for customer care. They come across as more focused on scare tactics and profit than delivering trustworthy, professional service. I will be sharing this experience wherever appropriate to help others avoid the same situation. Dave Ricard provided the absolute best customer service one could ask for. He has an in-depth knowledge of plumbing and water filtration systems and was able to help me when other plumbers/water filtration teams could not. He was friendly and explained everything so I knew exactly what my options were and what to anticipate. He was readily available and easy to communicate with. When we hit a couple of roadblocks, he maintained professionalism and a commitment to excellence. I am very happy with the work he did and I highly recommend him.
