Advanced Foundation Repair, particularly working with Bob, was an easy experience. They are very honest. I've had a few other foundation repair companies come and quote over the past 5 years with ranges of $20-60K for repair, not including work they wanted to do to dig into front patio and flooring, which would have added to the cost and not anything they'd fix. Bob walked me through the process and readings in simple terms. He explained the Texas soil with the hot versus cold seasons will see some movement. My house had the cosmetic repairs like doors sticking, some lines in the wall to tape and paint, but these were due to normal adjustments over time and seasons. The actual foundation repair was not required as the differences across the house were in normal range and not cause for alarm any time soon. I appreciate the honesty in an economy of people looking to do work for a quick buck. I know when I do have a foundation concern in the future who I will be calling for a thoughtful and honest review. I am sure if I do need work, they'll do it in a way that is a balance of what is required to ensure safety and integrity of the house and cost.
