Advanced Fireplace & Stove

We recently moved into our home in Logan and I contacted Krista to schedule an appointment to repair and perform maintenance on our gas fireplaces that were not working properly. She sent Ryan and John out the same day and they completely went through both fireplaces and got them working perfectly. They were very friendly, courteous and professional, cleaned each unit thoroughly and painstakingly and meticulously disassembled each log, rearranged them and positioned the vermiculite strategically to provide the full effect and reinstalled them cleaning each log off. Their level of service and expertise is second to none and we will definitely use them in the future for regular maintenance to keep them working safely and properly. I had AFS come out to service three fireplaces. With two fireplaces they did a great job, cleaned them and even painted one to make it look new again. However, the service completely went downhill from there. The last fire place was not cleaned (about of 1/8 in of dust over everything) and I was charged for a new blower kit. I looked underneath and noticed it was the same speed control knob, wires (one still frayed) and the same power cord. The fan/blower even looked the same. I told them this was not a new blower kit and then they said, actually we took one off our shelves. I pulled the fan out and it was rusted and not in the best of shape. I eventually took the blower back to them (might have been an old used one they had laying around or might have been my old blower, I can't be sure-should have taken a photo of everything before the service started) and said I wasn't paying $300 for a used, rusted blower.
