I heard some noise when driving over bumps and when applying brakes. I had just had another shop in CARTERET NJ change the strutz. When I bought it back to the mechanic, he stated I needed Motor mounts and quoted 500 dollars. I thought that was odd, I took it to A&J repair and they stated my right caliper needed to be tightened (SIMPLE FIX). Come to find out, the last shop that put the strutz on failed to tighten the nrake caliper and had me believe I needed motor mounts. I would hate to believe this was an attempt by the other shop to run up the price for more repairs, but i feel that's exactly what it was. Not only unsafe, but immoral. A&J took the car for a test, and tighten the caliper FREE no charge. In a world where it's hard to find honest people to work with, A&J maintained their integrity in a situation where they could've taken advantage. Safe to say I will be going back to when additional service is needed.
