This is my second, great experience with Abbey Capitol Floors. The carpet is a great product and support was excellent. Couldn’t be more satisfied. Special thanks to owners Blake and Lori for their guidance and assistance. Carl and Dave were helpful as well. Andres performed the installation. Quick, professional & looks exceptional . Well done. Capitol Floors also installed my wood flooring last year. Blake, owner stood by me when other businesses likely would not. My installer hung in there through a significant complication as well. Professional, competent. I trust this business.

We had a very good experience with Abbey Capitol Floors. Kerry was very helpful in the showroom and addressed all of our concerns. Rob was very thorough upon coming out to measure, so I knew everything would be considered and they'd do a great job. We ordered the waterproof laminate planks for our kitchen, dining room, great room, foyer, half bath, and laundry room and everything in between (about 1200 sq.ft) and we ordered a super soft plush carpet for our sunken living room and a few stairs on either side. Getting Educated: My wife and I recently went on a quest to replace carpet for our golf home. Our backgrounds are in tech so we started by getting educated with in person, and online teachings from long term carpet distributers and installers. Don’t skip this step! Carpet is an expensive and long lasting decision, get educated. Next we visited multiple Big Box, carpet and discount stores. What we found was a large amount of partial or uneducated information, just a “buy this carpet” sales pitch. Our 2 weeks “to done “turned into “3 months” to done" and I am glad it took so long. We had moved our furniture to clean the carpets and reevaluated new carpet. We did not want to move everything back again. Carl, our showroom salesman helped facilitate a quick measure and order after we picked our beautiful carpet. The carpet and color we picked was in production, so we did have a bit of a wait. Worth it. Our installers, Wyatt and Lem, were masters of their trade. Our home is large and not an easy layout. And the stairs! Wow, Wyatt did the “bullnose” edge and it is striking. We will definitely be singing the praises and referring everyone we know to Abbey Capitol Floors and Interiors.

It was disappointing that they required me to visit the showroom before scheduling an in-home estimate. My mobility impairment makes it a big production to go anywhere. I explained that, and also said I want luxury vinyl in three rooms, but he said they don’t carry samples so I’d have to come in. In all my years of home ownership I’ve never had to do that for a flooring estimate. Both of the next two businesses I called provide in-home estimates without a prior visit to the showroom, so we’ll go with one of them.
