I was excited to a Safe Home to service our fireplace after receiving the great referral from my neighbor. Needless to say, it was a terrible experience and I will not use a Safe Home again! Colt was super rude, short, and unfriendly the entire time he was at our home. He was not engaged and dismissed my questions and concerns. I am definitely skeptical of the outcome. When I called and spoke with Darryl to let him know, I was disappointed by his response and customer service. Last week when we spoke, it was such a different story. My 20-year old son is in agreement and also thought Colt was rude. Save your time!

I have used this company for about 6 + years, but im done. No more. They are over priced, and are not transparent. They charged us over 700 just to fix a fire place glass. Trip charge 230, and installation plus glass over $500. That is ridiculous especially when they refuse to show u the invoice on which they bought the glass. Use them at your own risk or make sure u get everything in writing before they do any work for you. I'm pretty sure if u shop around u will do better.

Charged me $528 for fixing something in my fireplace. I hired them to figure out what the problem was. They arrived 30 min early. My tenants let them in before I arrived. They fixed it without discussing with me the costs of fixing. And when I arrived they told me I owed $528. I wish I didn’t pay that bill and feel like a fool. Shady business people basically stealing money. EDIT: You serviced my house on Dec 6, 2022. And this whole thing still pisses me off. You're missing the point. I'd rather have a non-functional fireplace than be out $528 for something I never agreed to. This is out of principle. What you guys do is simply wrong. I am correctly reviewing a SAFE HOME Gas Fireplace Service and their people. I will not apologize for this review or take it down.

Just had a great experience with these guys. They were quick to diagnose that the main control valve had seized after 20 years of use, but they conducted thorough tests on all other parts. I tested everything I could before calling pros in an effort to solve it myself so I had an idea of what was good and what wasn’t. When I purchased the home about 4 years ago it took 30-60 seconds for the fire to ignite. It slowed to 3 minute ignition over the next few years till it finally never turned on again. I asked if they thought I should replace the other thermo-components and they said that those pieces tested fine and it wasn’t necessary. Appreciated the honesty! They only repair and they don’t sell full fireplaces, so they’re only goal is to fix what you’ve got. If you need a cleaning or repair, I would not look anywhere else.
