Summary: Be sure you get every little thing completed before you send final payment. Alex was great to work with up to install and we were happy overall with the install, but it has taken over 25 calls and emails to get him back to finish the final punchlist items, and it is still not fully complete more than 12 months later. Background: I hate having to write this review, but I want to caution others looking to work with Two brothers flooring. It has been two totally different experiences with them during the process. One before the install and full payment, and then another after full payment and trying to get the last few items completed. For the majority of our time working with Two Brothers, Alex was great to work with. We had trouble trying to find what we were looking for with LVP flooring. We stopped in his store after seeing his van driving around, and he was super helpful and found us a sample that totally fit what we wanted. We also appreciated that he had a 3 year warranty on the work. His flooring price was competitive, and I believe he was around $2/SF for install, which we were pleased with. He was patient answering all of our questions. It took a few months for the flooring to come in. Once it was in we scheduled install, and we were happy with the work done by Alex and his team. They were friendly, and also very accommodating as we were home during most of the install. There were a few misunderstandings in what was needed for the work, but Alex was great about working through them which I really appreciated. We were very happy with the overall installation. While all the flooring was installed, there were a few last items left to take care of that we thought would happen over the next 3-6 weeks. We had requested two extra boxes of flooring (in case any repairs were needed later) and they brought a different vent cover than what we ordered, so they were going to replace that. We also had noticed carpet popping up and not holding on two of the transitions, and two seams beginning to separate in one of the flooring areas. One thing after another seemed to come up when I checked in with Alex, if I was even able to get ahold of him. I would call, email, and leave voice messages every couple of weeks. Occasionally Alex would answer or return my call. I could tell I wasn’t a priority and at the bottom of the list, which was disappointing. It doesn’t seem unreasonable to expect someone to call you back or give you an update. I called and emailed well over 25 times the 12 months, and had multiple times Alex said his team would be coming and they didn’t show. 14 months after install, they finally made it to our house to finish most of the punchlist. I am still waiting on the vent cover replacement and have yet another email from Alex saying he would be there last Wednesday, and he didn’t show up. I’m not sure what caused the change after install/payment, and hope others don’t have the same experience, but felt I needed to post this as a caution to others. It has been beyond frustrating to spend hours trying to get ahold of Alex and have him not respond or be a no show.
