I think Chad Yochum is the best landscaper in the Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls ID area. Not only is he a great, hard working, honest person but he is so easy and accommodating to work with. He has an amazing team working with him and even they will tell you how much they like him and enjoy working with him though he does expect their best. The entire team is so friendly and willing to make you happy rather you want to add, move or change something along the way. Always courteous, always willing to do what it takes. Chad and his team did my front yard and I love it so he was an obvious choice when doing my back. My yard was unusual as it is...I think Chad Yochum is the best landscaper in the Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls ID area. We’ve had Yochum doing our lawn care for the past four years. They often mow it too short, and they also often only mow half of the lawn, because they won’t mow around our kids’ toys. But they also won’t tell us in advance when they’re coming to mow so that we can make sure the toys are put away when they come. They’ve created giant ruts in our lawn. They completely neglect the flower beds around the house, so we planted flowers last fall that are blooming now. They’ve already destroyed a bunch of the flowers we planted. Overall, they’re careless, clueless, and they do more harm than good.

I had these guys come out for a bid on my yard back in early May. I needed extensive cleanup/ landscaping and weekly maintenance. They no showed their start date, then they no showed their 2nd appointment as well. They apologized saying somehow I was taken off their work schedule. They finally showed up on the third scheduled set time, 4 weeks after me hiring them. They had two guys working at my property all day however they did not complete the job. Again, I kept getting various stories on when the work would be completed and again they didn’t come when they were supposed to be scheduled. On top of the clean up and landscape work I requeste...I had these guys come out for a bid on my yard back in early May. I needed extensive cleanup/ landscaping and weekly maintenance. They finally showed up on the third scheduled set time, 4 weeks after me hiring them. They had two guys working at my property all day however they did not complete the job. Again, I kept getting various stories on when the work would be completed and again they didn’t come when they were supposed to be scheduled. On top of the clean up and landscape work I requested, I also wanted my struggling grass weeded and fertilized along with a re seeding everywhere. Here we are at the end of June, 2 months after I hired them and my yard still looks as bad as it I’m did when I hired them. As patient as I’ve been with them, they decided it was too much work and decided to drop me. It will be very difficult to find a good crew now this late in the season. I would NOT recommend these guys for anything other than weekly mowing! Save yourself the time and heartache and pass the business up.
