The new Ace Hardware at Wingfield is pretty nice!
They have most of what you need for your households, and they offer a lot of variety there.
Also, you won't have to drive all the way to Home Depot/Lowe's for one item now!
Overall, this new Ace Hardware at Wingfield is pretty great.

Mannnn I love this store! I love Ace hardware stores in general, but I'm in here probably 4 or 5 times a month? I live really close, so it's really convenient to pop in for a bag of wood or other little trinkets I may need.
I'll address the staff issue first, I've never ever ever had an issue with any of the employees here. They've all been very nice, very accommodating and very helpful. And I don't think it's just because I'm a familiar face, I honestly think that's just their ethic.
There's been quite a few times that they don't have specific things that I need, and all the other hand, sometimes they have what other big box stores don't....Mannnn I love this store! There's been quite a few times that they don't have specific things that I need, and all the other hand, sometimes they have what other big box stores don't. So it's kind of a gamble. Generally the things they don't have, are for one of our houses that is super old.
I've been an ace rewards member for probably close to 20 years. I'm constantly getting discounts via the app and coupons sent through the mail, and I've also been able to compound all of my rewards points, with other special offers. One time I came in here and I bought $40 worth of stuff, and with all the discounts, and knocked it down to just under 13 bucks!
As long as I continue to live in the area, I'll be continuing my regular visits at this Ace hardware!

This hardware store and it’s front counter cashiers are absolutely useless. I went in there to buy a piece for my backyard irrigation drip system. I asked which aisle that part would be on and they had no idea, also the part was labeled as $3.99. When they rung up the part it populated to $4.89 and I told them that the price was wrong. The checker simply said well that’s what’s in the system, and I said well that’s not what it’s labeled as. They proceeded to call the manager, and we took a walk back to the location where the part was located. They proceeded to call the manager, and we took a walk back to the location where the part was located. The manager acknowledged that the price did in fact say $3.99 but also mention that there was a particular sale that ended and they didn’t get around to changing the labels. Therefore they could not honor the lower price as labeled in the actual aisle!
My second instance was another price discrepancy where I purchased the last item of its kind that had some very damaged packaging. I needed the $26 part and asked for a $5 discount because the item was clearly damaged. The checker at the front said that they had to call their manager to give me the five dollars off. No manager was at the store and personally I think it’s very odd that they don’t trust their employees to write off five dollars off of damaged product that they could’ve easily taken a picture of sent to their manager and dealt with it later, making the customer happy.
Lastly, I brought my daughter into the store and we picked out a farm toy with some livestock animals and a barn. Marked it was clearly on the shelf marked $9.99 with the description of barn toy on the label. So upon upon checking out, it rung up as $25. The two checkers at the front said, well that’s the price and you know how kids mess around with the toys on the shelves so they were most likely in the wrong place anyways. These two checkers showed no urgency to fix that shelf after dealing with the discrepancy and also said, what would you like to do? I proceeded to say, honor the price because that’s what it was listed as. They said they had to call their manager and ask permission, yet again. They’re blaming the messiness of their shelves on kids passing through the store. The store doesn’t have too much traffic, there’s plenty of time to fix your store.

I was helped by a young man named Doug. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met and went well out his way to help me with an issue I was having. AAA experience!
