On May 21 I ordered a fireplace tool set from Westchester Fireplace & BBQ. A month later, when it finally arrived, the set I received wasn’t even close to what was advertised on their, then current, website. It was also poorly packaged and damaged. When I finally reached their customer support on July 8, after many messages and emails, the person from Westchester was extremely rude and condescending. All I wanted was to ship it back for a full refund, as it wasn’t what I ordered and it was damaged. He refused. I told him I will go to social media on this and he said, fine, I will trash you on social media. I told him I will dispute this with... When I finally reached their customer support on July 8, after many messages and emails, the person from Westchester was extremely rude and condescending. All I wanted was to ship it back for a full refund, as it wasn’t what I ordered and it was damaged. He refused. I told him I will go to social media on this and he said, fine, I will trash you on social media. I told him I will dispute this with my CC company, which I just did, and he said he will file a theft claim because I have the item. He said he would call me back the next day to try to resolve after talking with his manufacturer and after 7 days, I have heard nothing. All I want is a refund as this item is 100% NOT as advertised and it is damaged. I have never given a company a bad review on line, but I have never experienced such horrible customer service. Stay away from Westchester Fireplace & BBQ.
