Did an absolutely fantastic job! Had many people driving by that stopped to chat about the small details in their process that other companies leave out. Easy to communicate with and updates you on anything needed throughout the process. Hands down, would recommend these guys to anyone! Love our new basement!
Rich and John did an EXCELLENT job on a partial basement replacement on our house built in 1910 (limestone foundation). We highly recommend Welch Masonry for basement repair work. They are easy to work with and do quality work!! This was definitely not an easy job to master due to a partial crawl space with very limited access. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. Finding a reliable contractor is very difficult these days, and Rich and his team REALLY stepped up. In addition, they kept the worksite clean and organized. He understood what we wanted and gave us a very fair bid without slandering other businesses or using excess salesmanship (which is what several other companies did). His bid was more detailed than others so we actually saw what we would be paying for. They began work on time and worked every good weather day until it was complete (plus a couple bad weather days). For a couple of the smaller surprises/extras, he just took care of them and did not ask for extra payment. They were done pretty much on time all things considered. The masonry looks beautiful and we know it's built to last with concrete slugging and rebar in the middle to stabilize. If you want a straightforward, hard-working, no-nonsense company to build you a basement that is going to last, look no further.
Had Rich quote us for beams to be put in our basement and he came in well below the competitors. We'll he did the work in no time at all and turned out great! Thanks again for the help!
Rich and John do fantastic work! If I had a second crawl space to dig out, I would call them in a heartbeat! They worked hard and ensured that they were in position to keep the project moving even during bad weather days. My kids (and me to be perfectly honest) had endless questions and they never hesitated answering them nor get frustrated with the neighborhood kids watching the process. Rich is very experienced and explained what was going on throughout the process to me and worked around a few of my ancillary projects associated with digging out the crawl space. If I could give 10 stars I would.
