We had a great experience getting my fiancée's engagement ring appraised at Von Hasle Jewelers! Joel was extremely friendly and walked me through step-by-step about the entire process. Getting my engagement ring appraised was so much smoother than I expected with this company. Joel (the appraiser) was very knowledgeable. thorough, quick and most importantly TRUST WORTHY. I was able to get my new appraisal to my insurance company in no time. I found him through the American Gem Society website, and will never use anyone else for all of my jewelry appraisal needs.
Online appointment scheduling was very easy. Joel was knowledgeable, professional, and super friendly. He bought some of my older jewelry pieces for a very fair price. Highly recommended!

He has since passed and around 8 years ago these rings broke. I searched in secret every few months to find someone to recreate these without breaking the bank, for years. I finally landed here. There is good, and then there is the level Joel stepped up to. I have attached side by sides of each ring so you can see. The left side ring is what we gave him to work with, the right side is what we got. We got amazing mock ups of the design, gave feedback, and the whole process...
