The fence seems to be good quality so far, however the warranty service, more specifically the rep in charge of it has been less than helpful. With three cancelled appointments, or out right no shows, and no responses to our questions after two weeks!
I was disappointed in the quality of my picket order overall. I took 22 pickets back that were so damaged it was insulting they tried to pass them off to me.... water stained, forklift damaged, geasy, moldy. I couldn't use them and politey requested exchange... they refused all but 5 of them. I asked the salesman if he would put that on a customer's fence and he wouldn't answer. Number 2 cedar comes with imperfections yes, natural ones. Not water stains, forklift damage, oil stains, mold, and ground in dirt.
Great food! Great customer service! Daily specials! Lunch specials! What more can you ask for?!?!?
I looked all around DFW for the kind of fence my wife wanted and these were the only guys who could produce it. The materials and delivery costs were surprisingly low and the wood quality is way better than I expected. Everyone I met was easy to work with and the whole process was very smooth. I definitely recommend working with them if you need a fence.
I am a divorced and retired lady who needed to replace her fence but was not happy with huge quotes I was getting from contractors. So I decided to learn more on my own. I found Jordon at Viking who was extremely helpful and patient with me with all my Japanese Cedar vs Western Cedar questions and told me things that the contractors never did. To purchase the materials on my own cut the materials cost about in half. Because the costs was so reasonable, I decided to have them stain it as well and it is came out great! (I chose Mission Brown, it is a dark brown with no red tones). Delivery day was today and it was pouring rain! Tim Casto...
