UIR came to our rescue after some internal flooding during a recent storm. They sealed our bathroom up from the elements, then finished the job over 2 additional days. The price was right, but the team of Liko and Michael were probably the best part of our interaction with UIR. We would highly recommend using them for urgent and non-urgent home restoration and repairs!
Demetrio and Brodie were tasked with a pretty big list of repairs in our property. They did outstanding work for starters and everything got taken care of that we asked of them. With that being said, I want to add that Demetrio is an extremely valuable asset to whoever he works for. Not only does he do good work, but he noticed some things that I was attempting to do myself in the house and would give me pointers and better ways to do things. He would even show me some of his techniques to make something look more cherry. I really appreciated and respected that he could take the time to just impart some knowledge and technique to help a perso... So again special Mahalos to Demetrio specifically whoever is lucky enough to have him come and do work in their house is very lucky.
I just want to commend this company for their customer service and the quality of work that they did. We had some mold growing around our kitchen vent and they did an excellent job of cutting it out, installing new drywall in the ceiling and repainting it to match so the repair looks seamless. While working, they discovered a problem with the HVAC insulation, and instead of just putting in drywall to finish the job and be done with it, they had an HVAC guy come and install new insulation to be sure that this was done correctly—even if it slowed them down by 2 days. I think this shows that they have some integrity, because they could’ve just... I just want to commend this company for their customer service and the quality of work that they did. The owner (or manager?) was a really nice guy, too. I was nervous about having mold work done while living in the house, and he calmly & patiently explained their process to me, including the steps that they take to contain the work space and filter the air, which helped put my mind at ease. He was also very understanding and accommodating with scheduling when I told him that I would like to wait until my guests leave town. Again, he put the customer first, even though it would’ve been better for them to get this project done the week before. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone on island who needs to repair water/mold damage in their house.
