I go here for everything. If they can save you money they will. They can even work on motherboards. Not a Drive Thru so do not expect your computer back in an hour. Parts take time to arrive. Love these guys!
Dropped off my computer on the 21st after walking through a smoker's haze outside the front door... still no response on the 5th of the following month after being told they would get to it within the next two days when I initially dropped it off. I left one voice mail requesting an update after 5 days, it was unanswered. After speaking to two different employees on days 7 and 10, neither could tell me the status of the computer. Finally I was told the motherboard needed to be replaced (on a 15 month old HP) and they would get back to me on the price... it's been 5 more days... still nothing... no calls... no attempts to contact me... cricket... I went to the actual facility today (6th) since they would not return my phone calls and still have not called to give me a price. I was given a price of $235 in writing. Apparently it had been sitting there, but they never called and never gave a price for the repair leaving it up to me to "guess" when the estimate to repair would be done. As I was reluctantly paying for the repair, I asked "Is the $235.00 just for the part or does this include the labor?" No mention had been made either way... so I assumed it was the full price to fix it as only $235.00 was written on the estimate. Labor was extra I was told! So they were going to ring it up, charge me for the $235.00 and then spring the labor cost of approximately $100.00 when I came to pick it up!! Absolutely pathetic customer service! Deceitful! Definitely go somewhere else!! ANYWHERE else!! I'd let my barber work on my computer with scissors before I'd go back to UDS Computer Svcs.
Dave is the best. I work for a local independent Roofing company and every time I need anything he is quick to respond and always takes the time to answer all my questions. Would recommend to anyone needing anything to do with computer service or products.
The team at UDS repaired my laptop in 1.5 days! My external monitors stopped working after a Microsoft update. The Microsoft remote tech support group was useless. The guys at UDS had to temporarily remove the update, update the Lenovo based software, and then reinstall the update. These guys quickly fixed what Microsoft screwed up and the cost was exactly what they quoted initially. I recommend UDS for computer repairs.
