Assida did a wonderful job.
I hired TrustPro Appliance to repair a washing machine at one of our managed properties, and this ended up being exactly the kind of repair situation people worry about. Their technician, Assida, came out, diagnosed the washer, gave us the repair price, and we paid $340 while he was there. The paid invoice says “Appliance Repair,” shows the payment was made, and shows a $0 balance. After the Saturday appointment, we received a receipt/review request, which naturally made it seem like the repair had been completed. The problem is nobody contacted me after the appointment to say the washer still was not fully working. No phone call. No explan... No explanation. No “hey, we fixed one issue but found another one.” Nothing. I only found out the washer still did not work because I followed up myself on Monday. At that point, I was told the washer was draining but still not spinning, and that another $191 would be required before it could become fully operational. That puts the customer in a bad position: I had already paid $340, tenants were waiting on a working washing machine, and now I was being asked for more money after the repair had been presented like it was done. It felt like they were counting on me being too far into it to say no. I asked TrustPro directly to clarify whether they would honor the paid repair invoice based on Assida’s original diagnosis and quote, or whether they were refusing to make the washer operational without the extra $191. They did not call me and did not respond to my final email by the deadline I gave them. So at this point, I’m out $340, the washing machine still does not work, and the company has stopped responding. I’m attaching the paid invoice so people can see exactly what was paid for. Based on this experience, I would not recommend TrustPro Appliance.
Alex was our technician and he was great! Very timely, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and patient. He provided us with options and made sure all of our questions were answers. Thank you Alex.
Alex was patient when the problem was not immediately clear and took the time to complete the job in one day.
