My Clifton is one of one. Looked out for me and wasn't trying to break my pockets. Could talk shop with and recommended exactly what needed to be done to get me back on the road. Would 10 out of 10 recommend
Clifton was able to get me in and looked at my car without charging me. He says he doesn’t charge just to see what your problem is. And that’s amazing!!! He says once he finds the problem then he talks money and won’t do anything without your permission first. I’m a woman and he’s not trying to take advantage of that fact like other mechanics do. He’s honest and lets you know if there are other issues with your car besides the problem you brought it in for. I like that fact that he lets you know what is needed and something you can wait on fixing. I came here because Tried and True sounded trustworthy and they really are. I highly recommend a... Clifton didn’t say I have to look at it first he gave me a total of what I thought was my problem first. So he will give you a price on what your issue is as long as you ask. He was the cheapest place to get it fixed. And he did look at it first to see if that really was my problem or not and then once he figured out what was wrong he called me right away to ask what I wanted to do. I liked that fact. So I highly recommend this place to get honest results. I am adding a suggestion for Clifton I need him to add an email address cause I needed to get a hold of him after hours to let him know that my car is acting up again and need to let him know ASAP SO PLEASE ADD AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO THIS BUSINESS PLEASE!!!!
Best mechanic in Bowling Green. Clifton not only worked me in because I requested a quick easy service. When I was talking to him I told him about a issue I had been having with my driver side front wheel that the dealership could not figure out. Clifton diagnosed the issue within an hour and my car is riding better than it ever has! Very honest and knowledgeable mechanic which is next to impossible to find these days. Will definitely go back and highly recommend Tried and True.
Clifton is the best! I would recommend Tried and True to anyone. I’ve been bringing my Volkswagen Beetle here for over a year now, and I always get great service at a fair price for everything from repairs to routine maintenance.
Clifton was amazing. Got my truck's transmission fixed within a week at a reasonable price. Good customer service. Everyone there was friendly. Definitely recommend bringing your car/truck here, its family owned and they take quality in their work.
