Lost all gears while driving. Contacted Cory and the guys at The VW Garage and they were able to get me in the same day. Not only that, but the problem was found and properly mended that day! Picked the car up and it feels like a whole new car; incredibly grateful!
Along with the severe issue, I had 4 new tires mounted and balanced without any damage occurring to the finish of the rims. They take pride in caring and protecting your vehicle, regardless if it's a $100k Porsche or $1000 beater. State inspection followed.
The staff and crew are extremely courteous, honest, friendly/helpful and highly knowledgeable. A+. I refuse to take my GLI any...Lost all gears while driving. The shop's employees are passionate about their VWs & knowledgeable about foreign cars in general, too. I had an EPC warning light up today then an engine warning lit up, too. Called VW Garage South this afternoon, and Abu said to bring my VW right in ASAP so they could at least check codes.
Once there, Cam ran the codes. Replacement of ignition coils + spark plugs was recommended as a first-line solution. Due to my work, I can't be without my car, so being fit in an hour after my phone call was a blessing. Abu & Cam even stayed a few minutes past closing to finish installing the new parts & get me on my way to my next client. Had my car dropped off to be looked at. The guys told me the issue and had my car fixed in the next few days! These guys are awesome! Highly recommend to anyone who has Volkswagen / Audi or similar platform of car to come to this shop or the other shop in Westbrook!
