We had our 23 year old fireplace remodeled by The Fireplace & Chimney Authority in Lisle and we could not be happier with the outcome. James was great to work with on the design and planning and Steve and his crew were professional and their workmanship was outstanding. I would highly recommend the Fireplace & Chimney Authority to anyone looking for a new fireplace or in need of an update as we did.
We moved into a house with a drafty fireplace, that we had no interest in burning. We went to Fireplace Chimney Authority and met Jason. He was so helpful explaining all our options. We decided to start by adding a door. We also wanted one row of bricks removed to shorten the height of the fireplace so we could mount our TV over the mantle. Jason assured us it was a simple task they're familiar doing. Jason came out measured for the door and we placed the order. Today his crew came out for the installation and to clean the chimney as well as camera the inside of it. Daniel and Ethan did an amazing job. They laid down blankets and abs... They were both so particular to detail, cleaned the glass several times to be sure it was spotless. When they left, they us with zero clean up and a beautiful addition to our living room. We highly recommend them. The customer service, kindness, willing to explain what they were doing and order in which they would do it was top notch. Jason, Daniel and Ethan clearly take pride in the work they do!
Very happy with our install. Everyone we worked with was very communicative and professional. It is exactly what we had hoped for! Could not recommend higher will definitely be using them for all of our chimney and fireplace needs
