I had a bad experience with two pairs of dress shoes that needed resoling, and will never waste my time or money with this place again.
The first pair was resoled properly, but the polishing job was uneven and overall terrible. When the owner handed me my shoes after I paid, I immediately asked him why the polishing job looked so bad. He was understandably insulted, but it was so obvious at first glance that he did a quick & shabby job. He went in the back and within a few minutes returned with them looking much better. Seems like he should have done that in the first place.

My experience with his work on the second pair is what prompted this 1 star review. His first attempt resulted in the sole having obvious indents/imperfections, which he attributed to using cardboard (see attached pictures). I asked if there was a non-cardboard option, which led him to recommend a fully leather sole for an additional $25. I was happy to pay the extra money to have my expensive shoes look proper without the indents/imperfections. However, one of the fully leather relacement soles was not properly glued and started coming apart after wearing it for a few days. I returned once again to ask the owner to fix the gluing issue. His attempted repair job was a joke, but I had given up at that point. The sole is again coming unglued at the same location (see attached picture). Needless to say, I will not be wasting my time with another shabby repair.

Incredible restoration of a pair of boots I have had for 15 years - I was really impressed with the condition of the leather once returned, and soles of the shoes being completely restored - here is to many more miles, thank you!

I brought a zero degree sleeping bag for repair. It cost $35, more than what was advertised on the website price list but far less than it would be to replace the bag with a new one. Still, a reasonable price. It was ready in one week, so turnaround was quick. Service was friendly. There's a 3% fee for credit cards but not for debit cards.
