My experience at The Clone Shop was terrible. Less than two weeks after picking up my laptop, it has the same issues as before. The staff was rude and dismissive, often interrupting or acting impatient, especially over the phone. They said it would take a day to fix my laptop and I would receive a call when it was ready; I never received a call and had to be the one to call them and request if they could run specific programs to check the issues my computer was having, to which they responded, “Uh, I guess.” It took them a full week, and the first thing I saw on my laptop was a REDDIT search on how to fix the overheating in the processor; that was beyond absurd. When I left my laptop there, I explained what was going on and what I wanted it done—a clean-up, reinstalling Windows, checking for hardware problems and software problems—and they disregarded it almost completely, giving me back the computer after a cleanup and a Reddit search on how to fix the problem that appeared again in less than two weeks after. Would not recommend.
