The Chairmaker & Friends

I would like to shop here but unfortunately their hours are difficult to find. The hours they’re open are not posted on either their door or on their website. They do however list times on Google and their Facebook page but be leery because they’re not accurate. I’ve driven over an hour to find the place dark and locked in the middle of an afternoon when they’re posted to be open.

They reupholstered our recliner and it looks just like it came off the Smith Bros showroom. We are totally pleased with the craftsmanship and quality of work. The cost of the job with material was 60% less than the cost of a new recliner.

They restored a chair that has been in family for years. It was a 200 year old antique chair that my father had. It looks brand new in an antique way. Highly recommend!

We used Chairmaker & Friends to make a new awning for our building. They did a fantastic job and were great to work with. From providing the estimate, to the final installation they were great with communications, professional, and on time. The awning looks fantastic! This custom furniture store is such a treasure! They do incredible custom restorations of vintage pieces, the craftmenship is wonderful and all done by hand. They also did a great job upholstering an antique chair that I had almost thrown away. Now it’s a statement piece in my living room. There is a lot of home decor by local artists and unique accessories. I was very impressed by Garrett and his team!
