This was the absolutely worst experience I have EVER had with a business in Cheyenne. I received a beautiful ring for my birthday that I ended up having to get cut off my finger. When I went to Teton, the owner was confident he could resize it without losing any diamonds, and it would look like new. He said if any did fall out, he would simply place them back in. I received a beautiful ring for my birthday that I ended up having to get cut off my finger. When I went to Teton, the owner was confident he could resize it without losing any diamonds, and it would look like new. He said if any did fall out, he would simply place them back in. I felt really good about it when I left. When I picked up the ring, it looked ok in the store's lighting, but when I got home, there were diamonds completely MISSING and he said nothing about it. There was also a baguette diamond set completely vertically. Additionally, he said he rhodium plated the ring, which we paid for, and another local jeweler confirmed it had not been plated and confirmed the missing diamonds. When my husband took the ring back, the owner was dismissive but acted like he didn't know about the missing diamonds and didn't even acknowledge he hadn't plated the ring. He said he would fix it like new. My husband came in weekly for over a month to check on progress, and kept being told they were waiting on rhodium to arrive. Each time a date was given, and we heard nothing. Finally, my husband was able to pick up the ring this week. It looks absolutely terrible. There is spotting all over the metal, it is not sized correctly, and the diamonds are not even. We are confirming the diamonds that were replaced were actual diamonds, and I will update my review if not. However, I am not sure how they disappeared and then re-appeared. Overall, we are weighing our options to get the ring replaced. Please, do not trust this person with your jewelry! If we had not looked hard enough we might not have taken this in for a second opinion. A total waste of money. We might have been able to get it fixed by another jeweler, but we tried to support local and the reviews were good. Now, we feel it is beyond repair without spending hundreds of dollars. I wonder how many people they have done this to!
