Scheduling was easy and the technician arrived promptly. Unfortunately, once they realized I was injured and needed the repair completed quickly they took advantage. I was charged nearly $800 for a spring replacement that typically costs between $200 and $450 - guess they do not understand the power a AI yet. While they responded quickly, their rates are well above standard market pricing, so proceed with caution before booking.
I was very pleased with how quickly they were able to get to our place to repair our garage door. However, I wish I'd done my homework a little more before signing off on these repairs that were incredibly overpriced. The damage was minor and it's crazy that it cost $1,000 to repair (and the rubber seal wasn't even replaced- I'm definitely not satisfied) We had SGD replace a bottom panel at one of our rental properties only 1.5 years and that was cheaper than a repair! The tech was not professional either. This is the 3rd time we used this company and will not be using them again. Beware of price gouging with this company!
I want to give a huge thanks to Matt (USMC) for his great work on replacing my springs AND installing a new Liftmaster opener on my garage door today. What was so remarkable about him was that he started this job at 5:00pm after initially showing up at 11:00AM due to a miscommunication from SGD dispatch and worked 3.5 hours to complete the install. His workmanship was only surpassed by his work ethic and desire to provide the best possible installation possible despite the late hour. I highly recommend SGD to my friends, family and neighbors and especially Matt who went above and beyond, but that's only comes normal to a retired US Marine Cor... My garage door cables came off on a Subday afternoon and I called Superior Garage doors. They are available 24/7 by phone and had Arthur out within a couple hours. He was able to diagnose the issue and got Everton working great again within a couple hours with no extra charge for coming on a Sunday. Arthur was great! Very professional and knowledgeable.
