Suburban Fence

I have had Joe and the Suburban Fence team build two fences for me. One back in 2014, and a new one in 2020 (we moved). Both fences were 4' cedar picket fences, 4x4 cedar posts with concrete base. I could not be happier with the quality and precision of the fences that Joe and the team built for me and my family. The fences are strong, straight and most importantly beautiful. On our new fence we have three - 3' gates as well as two - 5' gates over the driveway. The gates are well designed, sturdy, smooth, and again beautiful. I highly recommend Suburban Fence - for its value, quality, and beauty. Do not hesitate to hire these guys.

Suburban Fence did a very nice job of planning, constructing, and finishing the fence as estimated. The permit was executed correctly, and in a timely manner. I am so pleased with the finished product. Good job!

I am very disappointed in this company. I scheduled an appt for someone to come by our house to give us an estimate on a fence repair and fence extension. After calling the company several times, Joe from Suburban fence agreed to be at our house between 6-7:30 PM one evening. Instead of showing up as agreed, he called at 5pm asking if he could come earlier. Because I was working, I did not get the VM until close to 6 PM. I immediately called him to say I could not meet earlier as I was working but 6-7:30 PM still worked for us and that we were home. Joe never showed up that night. I had a privacy fence and driveway gate installed in the summer of 2020, and some of the hardware on the gate failed within the year. Since then I’ve been trying to contact Joe to schedule the repair and he has hasn’t followed through despite numerous contacts via phone and email. Overall it has been a disappointing experience.

My parents had an ornamental iron fence put in and overall the job was done poorly. I work for a large fence company out west and can tell by looking at their job they didn’t set posts deep enough and over poured and therefore overcharged on cement fill. Many of the footings and posts have heaved out of the ground leaving an uneven fence rail and ugly ground appearance. On top of this, the gate hardware all failed nor were the gates trussed to counteract sag over time with no response to replace parts. This is the second fence we’ve had done by suburban fence, and both look fantastic! Wonderful quality! Would recommend!

Working with Joe was a great experience! He responds in a timely manner and is easy to work with. He has great experience and insight in the field. I appreciated his guidance in planning the fence, going through the permit process, and picking a design that worked for my space. I had my backyard fence done last year and am already working with him again on my front yard fence.

Working with Joe and Suburban fence was fine until the project was almost finished. Have now been waiting for over a year and a half for our fence to be finished. I contact Joe and he gives me a fluff answer that he will get to it soon and here I wait. A year and a half.
