Strait Music is an Austin gem. They have a wonderful space, great products, and knowledgeable and kind staff. You can sit online all day researching and ordering, but nothing beats a face to face conversation with someone who can immediately point you in the right direction and put thr exact thing you need directly into your hands. I am new to the pedal game, and Austin helped me tremendously with my setup. I will be coming back. I not only left with the perfect product, but I left with an education.

He gave me great advice to shop for something used and come back and so I did and then he helped me get setup, checked what I bought, and made sure I was good to go. Took in a trumpet that I've had for 16 years and needed a lot of work from damage that had accumulated over the years including a bent/crimped bell caused by trying to pull out a stuck tuning slide. Strait Music did an extraordinary job of restoring my Trumpet and fixing all 5 issues with it. The repairs were done in a very timely manner, and the cost of repairs were very fair. I strongly recommend Strait Music for your instrument repair needs.

I’m very happy with the work of John the guitar luthier there. I have brought in my vintage Les Paul and Strat for various random projects and he has always exceeded expectations. Calls me with any clarifying questions to make sure he is doing exactly what I want and the results are top notch (and fast).
