We recently moved to a 40-year old build with a lot of overgrowth and a lack of playspace for our young kids. We asked for recommendations from friends in the area. I reached out to Sam at Southern Standard with a small vision and a lot of apprehension about making such a big decision. Sam was with us every step of the way and when we were ready to move on the project, they scheduled us the same week. From Monday to Friday the team was on site from 7:30-5:30 with zero issues and the project manager, Jose, kept me up to date on the progress the whole week. Since our sod was dormant at the time of installation it struggled to come out of dormancy despite following their sod care instructions and my own research. The team agreed to come back and fix some of the issues that arose once everything settled in for a few months. Overall, I’m really happy with the product and the investment we made because we spent all spring and summer enjoying the backyard as a family, which wasn’t possible before. We’ve recommended Southern Standard to a few friends because of our overall happiness with the project.
