They did a great job and were finished quickly. Their work was great!
Taylor was here to my home in less than 30 minutes after my call to him to fix a clogged drain line. We were very impressed. He was out several times before, repairs were made promptly and at reasonable price. Thank you Taylor!
Very poor experience. Had a leak under the sink, they sent out 3 different men 3 different times. Each one just tightened a nut. Each time dirty disposal water gushed into my kitchen. I asked for a refund and they refused. Manager, Lauren stopped returning my calls. Had a local plumber come and he replaced the pipe in minutes, and it been fine ever since. Caused a lot of water damage and ruined 3 rugs. They did nothing for me.
PLEASE DON’T USE THIS COMPANY – They promise to come out and give you a free quote where other companies charge BUT don’t be fooled by this. The technician that was sent out to complete the job found the issue, dug up our parking lot, and replaced the leak covered and paved it back up. $4500 spent but problem fixed. We thought everything was good until a week later when the water resurfaced at double the rate it was prior. They came out and assessed the leak, and this time wanted to dig the rest of the parking lot up and replace all of the pipe back to the main @ $12,000 estimated ("maybe more"). At that point we decided we needed a 2nd opinion, so we called another local plumber who was out the next am and based on where the leak was thought it may be from the same location they just repaired. We hired them to excavate the area and he found that Southend’s repair was faulty. #1 They put a metal fitting inside of a plastic connector (which Split the connector) and #2 they didn’t backfill any dirt underneath the repaired pipe joint so when the backfilled the dirt and asphalt the weight put tension on the repaired joint and probably also contributed to the split. I tried to speak to a manager by phone and email and even found the email address of the owner of the company on LinkedIn and I have not received a reply at all. This is the worst repair-gone-bad situation I’ve ever seen without so much as a customer service response. I’m not sure if they don’t want to respond as it may admit fault or what, but it is BAD BUSINESS and you don’t want to have to deal with that the way we are! And if you don’t want them coming to your place of business as I had them do you definitely don’t want them at your residence either! STAY SAFE and STAY AWAY!!! Don't make the same Plumber Blunder we made by hiring them! The company I work for is a service-oriented company as well and we would never practice this type of business where we make a mistake and then totally ignore any attempts at communication about our customers complaint. Extremely BAD BUSINESS!!!
I called SouthEnd plumbing for a gas water heater repair. Thankfully I had already done a little bit of research and had an idea of what the problem was. The plumber arrives, goes over to my water heater for a couple of minutes…didn’t even appear to look at the issue and then came back and told me that it would be 1700 to repair all of the parts but he recommended I get a whole new water heater. It was like he was reading off of a sales script. I told him I would think about it. I later called a smaller hometown plumber in my area. They came out same day, looked at my heater and told me the exact part that I thought was the problem needed to be replaced. It took them 30 mins to fix and they charged me $125. My advice is always go with your smaller hometown businesses. They are less likely to rip you off, like South End Plumbing was trying to do to me.
I am not happy that I paid $1056.09 for the purchase and installation of a commode that cost less than $90.00. I later found the exact commode sold at Lowes for around $86.00. While the installer did seem competent and friendly, I expected a better commode for the price I paid. In addition, the bowl moves when you lean back so I had to stabilize it with cushion. I'm very disappointed with South End Plumbing!
