I cannot say enough good things about this fence staining company and especially Joseph! From start to finish, the entire experience was professional and friendly. Joseph went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, and the finished fence looks absolutely amazing. The stain is even, beautiful, and completely transformed the look of my yard. Joseph was hardworking and respectful of my property, and clearly takes pride in his work. It’s rare these days to find someone with such great customer service and attention to detail. If you are looking for a company that truly cares about quality, this is the one to call. Highly recommend Joseph and the whole team!

Great price great stain

Staining by Smitty's was arranged for us by the company that built my fence. Since that company was so high quality, I expected that Smitty's would be first class as well. And they did not disappoint! Smitty's techs took much care to cover furnature, etc. prior to beginning staining - they even covered the pool! The staining was done efficiently and the results were great! Amazing how there is not even any overflow anywhere, it was a perfectly clean job. Then they cleaned up everything after they were done. I will certainly use Smitty's for continued maintenance of our fence over the years!

My first experience with Smitty's Woodcare was in 2007 when I was getting a new fence - cedar, 6 ft, clear pickets (98% less knots than #1), board on board, rabbit trim, one gate, and shrubs on the inside of the fence. Mike Whitley (Affordable Fence Company) recommended Mike Smith as the best person to seal and stain the fence and I was pleased with the result and price. Four years later, with Texas weather and a sprinkler system, it was time for another staining, and I again called Smitty's Woodcare. Same good service, quality, price and value. Five years passed and in 2016, for the third time, I went with Smitty's Woodcare and got the same results. Here it is Sept 2021, yet another 5 years. Physically the fence has held up very well, no broken posts or loose boards, knotholes staying in place, and the wood itself - despite squirrels chewing a little wood off the top of some posts, is healthy. A fourth call out to Smitty's Woodcare, and again quick service, friendly and competent crew, good price and value. In another 4-5 years I'll be calling him again.

Smitty's Wood Care did a terrific job staining my new cedar fence. I loved being able to go to their showroom in McKinney to see large samples of stained fencing, which helped me greatly to choose the perfect stain. The workman arrived on time, was friendly and informative, and super tidy. Great experience all around. I would highly recommend Smitty's to others.

Great stain

We have had our fence stained a couple of times by Smitty’s and it always looks so beautiful once stained. We got new boards recently and they came out and stained the boards for no cost! We really appreciate their hard work and generosity! We will always use Smitty’s when staining our fence!

I have used Mike Smiths' company Smitty's Woodcare for dozen's of fence and pergola projects over the past three years. His crews are professional and very respectful toward my home owners and their properties. I definitely have a choice when it comes to sub contractors that I can use to clean and re-stain fences and pergolas but I continue to utilize Mike because of the great service, the great value and his honest approach to business.

I highly recommend these guys for all your fence staining and repair needs! They were fast, efficient and did an amazing job.
