I wandered in to Smart Motors after work in Madison one day to look at vehicles and figure out what kind of vehicle I wanted. Our Lease was up on our truck soon and my husband had told me that I couldn’t go wherever I wanted to turn the truck in and get a new vehicle. I did not listen of course because The Hesser Store was a nightmare experience with our truck they sold us the wrong truck we left with the wrong truck and I had to bring the truck back and exchange it after I had already had it for a day or two because of their screw up. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went to this place once about a year ago. I had to change a torque converter seal. They charged me 1,200 dollars. I don’t know anything about cars so I paid them. My dad calls me and tells me that was way too much but it was too late. If you don’t know anything about cars they will take advantage of that as much as they can do not trust them.

Smart Auto Repair was amazing when our brakes went out on a six hour road trip. From the time we called them to the time we were back on the road, it was only an hour and a half! They managed to secure the right parts and change the brakes so quickly. Thank you so much for your help!

Please don't come here. I had a coolant issue on my 5hr drive so it was an emergency. They had me wait several hours only to finally screw in one small part of the engine like literally just a push in screw, and just replacing one hose.. That is all they did. And how much it costed me? $200. And then when I drove my car down the street it shut down, even worse than when I first had smoking car issue. I called him afterwards and he told me there's not much he can do about it, and will not refund me. It is my fault for not knowing much about cars but shame on them they will rip you off DO NOT COME HERE.

Roy and his team replaced 2 tires I desperately needed in a quick and efficient manner. I feel comfortable as a woman going there for all my automotive needs. I'd recommend them to others as well.
