I had three separate representatives come out to investigate a leak in my rooftop deck. None of them could identify the source, but they did find several maintenance issues, including missing caulk. We explicitly agreed that they would send an estimate to fix these specific defects, with both sides fully acknowledging that this work might not stop the active leak. Despite this clear understanding, they ghosted me. After I chased them multiple times for the quote, they finally sent an email refusing the job, claiming it was because the repairs 'might not solve the problem.' This is a dishonest cop-out.
