Simmer and Sons called me back and came out to provide an estimate on the same day I submitted a request for an estimate to repair two chimneys in West Chester, PA. That alone tells you something about them. Multiple masons promised to come out and never did or simply did not respond. Other masons wanted to stucco the chimney. Simmer and Sons recommended repointing and crown replacements. I am very pleased with their work which included grinding out and replacing a total of 37 bricks across two chimneys. Contacted Gary to give me an idea of the damage I had to my masonry chimney on the exterior of the home. He came out as soon as possible to give me an estimate and had the proposal over within a reasonable time frame. Cost was reasonable for the amount of work that needed done. Both of the brothers were honest and helpful throughout the entire job and replaced my crown, rake, and cut out and placed 50+ new bricks within a few days of work with a good color match of my existing material. Very happy with the finished product and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality masonry work for a reasonable price.
