We had our back porch and front sidewalk built by SCM a year apart. Morris can show up with a plan in his head and it will turn out exactly how we imagined it. Truly a work of art! We already have a deposit in for fixing our chimney and front steps. I’d recommend them to everyone. Thank you!
Shore Custom Masonry was a pleasure to work with. They do beautiful work. We could not be happier. We replaced an awful cement walkway with beautiful new pavers. This was painstaking work and all done by hand. He is a true artisan.
Morris Pohl did an excellent job in constructing a new foundation for an 1830 house in Allen, Maryland owned by the Allen Historical Society. While the house was temporarily lifted by a house moving company, he built a new foundation that consists of three courses of concrete block supported by a poured concrete footing with rebar, and included adding an access door and vents. The cost was very reasonable and Morris completed the project within the desired schedule despite having to cope with some very cold winter weather conditions. I highly recommend him. Sitting by our cozy fire after Shore Custom Masonry rebuilt our crumbling chimney. Morris does excellent work- it looks great and functions perfectly. I have a couple of “wish list” things: I wish he had a full time helper! Because he was doing the entire job alone, it took a bit longer than expected (that’s not a complaint by any means- just an observation). The other “wish list” item is better communication. I often had to initiate conversations in order to get information, which should have been proactively communicated from the company.
