I was very displeased with the so-called service I received from Jeremy at Shelatz Appliance. I called for service for my refrigerator ice machine not putting out ice. He came in and looked under my sink at the water line and the reverse osmosis filters and said, “it could be a number of things but first you need a plumber before I can do anything”. He never looked at the freezer ice machine and never took any tools from his tool bag but charged me $20.00 for labor. The definition of labor is “work performed” which he did not do. He charged me $79.95 for a service call and $6.75 tax. He did give me a 30 day warranty on the service call and...I was very displeased with the so-called service I received from Jeremy at Shelatz Appliance. He did give me a 30 day warranty on the service call and said, “before I can continue you need a plumber to install separate valves for the sink, reverse osmosis, and refrigerator “. I believe a service call should include diagnosing the problem, identifying fixes and performing necessary repairs, which was incomplete for the charges billed me.

We lost our refrigerator/freezer due to a power outage. We called they came right out. The office lady Jennifer was very nice. Jeremy was the tech, he was very knowledgeable, and curtiouus. He diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes, and ordered the parts. Then Jennifer called us when the parts came in, and scheduled the repair. Jeremy was done in about an hour. I felt they were very reasonable, and fair. Thanks for everything! So happy to have our fridge back!

Guy came out. Said need new ovens. Ovens to old don't make parts for them. Well, guess what we found them on Amazon. Fixed them ourselves. So the $85.00 you charged me was to tell me to buy new ovens which we did not need. Do not recommend this company.Feels like we got ripped off.

Called Shelatz and had to pay for emergency service but Jeremy came out, replaced the motherboard with a new one (which he had in his van) and told us how to deal with the still frozen food and spoiled refrigerator food. He also explained how the motherboard came to be "busted" and we've ordered a special surge protector for refrigerators from Amazon. Jeremy is knowledgeable, efficient and very personable -- our "go-to" appliance repairman from now on. Very good service. The repairman knew exactly what was wrong with our refrigerator as soon as he opened its door. He disassembled the shelving and found a fan not working, so he ordered a new one and partially re-assembled the shelving to allow for better airflow so we could still chill our items until the new fan arrived.
