Have only been with them about 8 months. The $70 service works well in our rural home... when it actually works. We've had multiple outages (from minutes up to 2 weeks without internet). Just today, it went out three times, disrupting usage (approx 5-10 minutes each time). Customer service isn't the best either. The technicians who have come out to fix issues have been fine, but in-office representatives are iffy, and the time it takes to send a technician is ridiculous. We had to wait a week and half, without internet, for a technician to come repair. If you're rural, have $70, and some patience it's a viable option I suppose.

Been having issues with intent service in rocky mount for about 2 months. Technicians have been out multiple times and problems persist. Now I've been out continuously for a week and they tell me the soonest they can have someone out is 23rd (service went out 15th) and the only reason is simply due to me being in rocky mount. They are understaffed and quite frankly, unprofessional. Don't offer your services in an area you cannot maintain in a timely matter. I would avoid this company at all costs, especially if you live anywhere that's not Lynchburg.

Since 2020 the service itself has become spotty, slow, and cuts out consistently in inclement weather like a heavy rain. You pay a lot of money ($80+/mo.) for poor connectivity and even poorer customer service.
Response time via email to customer service takes hours. I called this morning and spoke with a rep who was profoundly unconcerned with the inconvenience that loss of ability to execute my work (I work from home) causes, and maintained that it was a problem with my equipment. It was clear then as it is hours later that technical support will be unavailable for an undetermined amount of time. Judging from other reviews, it could be weeks before someone comes out. In the meantime, my internet service has been unstable and cuts in and out constantly.
Since Firefly has been marketing in the area, I’m going to be looking at other alternatives asap.
