We got our new concrete patio (under a deck) screened in by these folks. They're well-priced and great quality. Even during these insane winds this winter (we're over 3,000 ft elevation), the screens look good as new and have taken a beating. Helps that they're strong too, especially with our toddlers running into them since they're so see-through! I recommend these local folks. Pictures attached of their work. In the completed photo it was raining so it looks foggier, but when it's dry it's hard to know it's even there and looks quite sharp! Pics below are before, during and after!

I needed a deck addition built. I knew at the height of the building season it would be difficult to find someone who could build the deck in a timely manner. I drew up the site plan and building plan and had the sewer letter and other approvals for the permit all together before hiring Asheville Screen and Deck. I called Michel and two days later he came out to look at the job. He gave me a bid, and since I had all the necessary paperwork, he was able to expedite the permit process. The day after the permit was approved he and another man were out here digging the footings.
I knew he had other clients in line, but he was able to break off...I needed a deck addition built. I knew he had other clients in line, but he was able to break off a full crew of men for a couple days, and before I knew it I had a brand new deck addition. Since I used to be a builder, I was very particular as to how I wanted my deck constructed. I like to overbuild things when I build for myself, and Michel happily agreed to do things the way I specified, even though he could have done less and still gotten the deck approved by the permits dept.
Throughout the process Michel and his crew were courteous, friendly and professional. On top of excellent work, professional comportment by the entire crew, and timely service, they built my addition for a fair price. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had hiring a contractor, and I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat! You should too. Thanks guys! You did a great job!

• Porch roof leaked from the day they installed it.
• Had to teach them how to center the peak of the roof to not be crooked.
• Non-responsive for over 5 months to repair their work.
• Had to monitor EVERY STEP to make sure they didn't screw up. Even with that, they forgot to put in bracing after the roof was already closed.
• After the project was finished, they demanded more money to be paid on the spot.

• In planning, I asked them for a design and they never gave one for half a year of asking. When drawn out on a napkin before they started they placed a pole directly in front of a window which we discussed cannot be an option from the original quote.
•Headache after headache -- not worth it at all. Now in legal battle with them
• Michael's communication with the team is awful. He said something would be done a certain way, (like including bracing for a porch swing) and would never communicate that to his team -- so they closed the roof up and had to reopen the roof after many back and forths to convince them it was necessary. They got the bracing wrong 3 times even after I drew them a picture of what it needed.
Now, they have blocked my number and have not returned my calls with once a week calls for the last 5 months. When I got any response from Michael, it was a text saying his nose was stuffed and couldn't come out for the past 5 months???
They are not licensed. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB and taking legal recourse next if this is not finished in the next week. It has gone on long enough. This whole process started January 2023 -- this has gone on long enough....
