I can’t say enough good things about Schoenbauer Furniture! I wanted a lighter, brighter kitchen, but not the expense of a full remodel. Since we were happy with the layout & the quality of the cabinets, we looked into refacing/painting. Katie walked us through the process and was so patient while I agonized over color. Then, Jon led an amazing crew - they were clean, courteous, and thorough. Just two days of work in the kitchen, 2 weeks without doors & drawers, then a half day of reinstallation. The final look is flawless! Our kitchen looks brand new and so bright - at a fraction of the cost and time of a remodel. We couldn’t be happier!!

$1100 does not go far for a repair, but seems great compared to the customer service.
This company was selected by my moving company to provide an assessment and repair for a damaged hand carved table worth thousands of dollars that was destroyed. I will not focus on the mediocre repair as that is only half the issue and not the worst part. My major problem with them is two-fold:
1) They will not stand behind their work. The repair degraded the first time it was completed resulting in a substandard product. After it was repaired for the second time they told me it will never fail again, but that they could not provide a warranty be...$1100 does not go far for a repair, but seems great compared to the customer service.

1) They will not stand behind their work. The repair degraded the first time it was completed resulting in a substandard product. After it was repaired for the second time they told me it will never fail again, but that they could not provide a warranty because it would expose them to too much liability. If it will truly never fail again, there would be no liability. What they are really doing is shifting the risk to me as the customer.
2) Mike made a promise to me and did not follow through. When he called me to ask that I remove my review he agreed that a hole through the top of the table was never going to be fixed to the original state and they he would send an email saying so to the move company. He never followed through with that and instead the repair was adequate, something that should have been left to an impartial party. It seems that their desire to continue to be considered by moving company for these repairs has made them happy to live with one disgruntled customer. I hope that you are not the next person to receive the same treatment that I did.
Because of Mike Schoenbauer, I am forever stuck with a damaged piece of furniture with damage I was not fully compensated for, and which reminds me of this terrible experience every time I sit at it and see the damage they could not repair. I would stay away from a company that has so little trustworthiness and refuses to stand behind their work and their word.

Michael and Luis picked up the furniture respectfully and handled it with care. Their skill in dismantling and reassembling left us confident in the process. Each item was returned in beautiful condition.
We are eternally grateful to Schoenbauer for the outstanding care provided in repair of our furniture. While we don’t idolize our material possessions, we take great care of them because we’ve worked hard for every penny spent. Daniel was truly a pleasure to work with. He came out to inspect furniture that was damaged by the movers and helped with the whole process on making sure we know what to expect. He was professional, thorough and so easy to communicate with, which made a stressful situation much easier. I really appreciated his help and would definitely recommend him.
