Don and his team removed my old wooden deck and installed a composite deck (Trex) and aluminum railing. The new deck looks great. Don worked with me on the design and choosing materials. Highly recommend Don and his team.

Don Schmidke Builders and his crew are very professional, courteous, knows what they are doing, safety conscious and does it right the first time. I had them build a 18x34 garage. This included design, permits, survey, demo of the old and complete construction of the new. Not only did I have them build a garage but they constructed a new floor for my shed, built 2 different retaining walls, upgraded electrical panels and lighting in my house and landscaped with stone as well. While building if something was not correct for some reason, it would be fixed the correct way before they would leave. After completing the work for the day everyt... Don Schmidke Builders and his crew are very professional, courteous, knows what they are doing, safety conscious and does it right the first time. I had them build a 18x34 garage. While building if something was not correct for some reason, it would be fixed the correct way before they would leave. After completing the work for the day everything would be cleaned as if nobody was there for the day. There were things that were not discussed in the contract and they would work with me to add it on at little to no cost while constructing. Some of the things were digging trenches, burying downspouts under ground, building shelves, hanging lights, insulating walls, reinstalling fence, and giving advice on how to enhance the over all project. They far exceeded my expectations and have recommended them to others and will go back to them for future construction or remodeling needs.
Don and his crew were amazing to work with. They transformed my old and outdated home into a modern, strong and safer home. They were able to accommodate all of the challenges this old home threw at us. Although originally hired to replace the siding, they were able to do so much more! They installed insulation to the attic, installed a front door, replaced stairs, added gutters and replaced downspouts and repaired window wraps. The crews were respectful. Everyday they cleaned the entire yard, put lawn furniture back. I would highly recommend Don and his team to any home renovation project.
