Sandro Cocco Violin Studio

A master craftsman, Mr. Cocco quickly corrected a couple of issues on my cello for a surprisingly reasonable fee. He is also a very kind person. I cannot recommend highly enough, I would award a ten star review if I could!

Very Fast Job! I scheduled and then brought my bow to be rehaired on a Saturday and 2 days later It was already done. Cocco was recommended by my Violin teacher and the cost was reasonably $65 for normal hair or $75 for professional quality hair. He was very friendly and accommodating towards my requests. He even said he could do same-day rehair for $10 more.

Sandro has been re-hairing my bows and fixing my violins for about 10 years now. He put the LR Baggs pickup on my violin, has moved the sound post to balance the sound and changed the bow hair for me more than once. I am very happy with his work. Recently Sandro fixed my backup violin when the entire top came off, and it plays beautifully since then. I highly recommend working with him for your violin and bow repair needs!

Sandro is very knowledgeable and friendly, as well and flexible with timing and prices very fairly. His shop is nearly an hour from my house but I will never take my violin to anyone else as long as I live in the area! I have waited for him to return from Italy and it's worth it! 😅
