i have used San Antonio Due South Plumbing for years because they always do solid plumbing work and really stand behind their repairs if anything comes up. most recently, i needed a shower valve cartridge swapped out. cameron handled it fast and left no mess at all. later on, i had to get the main valve changed in the same spot as the new cartridge. i asked for cameron again, and he and malachi managed to replace the valve without taking out any tile. they had to cut an access hole, but there was a fire block in the way. somehow, they still got the job done neat and tidy.

Today started off rough when my tenants called to complain about a horrible smell coming from the laundry room drain in my rental house. It was really awful. I had used a plumbing service before to fix some issues with the dishwasher and kitchen pipes, so I reached out to them again. They were able to send someone out the same day. Cameron was great! The problem turned out to be tricky. My house is older, and I thought the plumbing was still in good shape, but I was wrong. Cameron and his assistant Malachi crawled under the house, even though the crawl space is really tight, and found that several old pipes from the kitchen, bathroom, and dishwasher had cracked and were leaking for quite a while under the house. There was water, waste, and a lot of build-up blocking the pipes, so hardly anything was draining properly. They replaced all the broken pipes and connectors, and while working, they also found a gas leak in one of the heating pipes. Cameron suggested I call the city about the gas leak. Malachi turned off the gas and capped the leaking pipes for safety. I let the tenants know, made some extra plans, and now everything is on track to be fixed.
