I just picked up my cedar chest that Rob was working on. I'm so excited to see what a beautiful job he did on it. He restored it better than new. It's gorgeous. I can't say enough about this gentleman. He's not only talented and very nice, he's also a Christian. That made me feel safe to leave one of my treasures with him. Thank you, Mr Hickey.

Rob is a Master Craftsman and Woodworking Artist. My great grandmother's library table sat in storage for over 10 years in horrible condition. It is now a gorgeous, intricate piece of art I treasure. Thank you so much!!
Rob Hickey owns and runs this fantastic furniture shop on Telegraph in Brownstown. He stripped and cleaned three of my mom's inlaid tables about 20 years ago and he did an amazing job!! And here she is all these years later and the tables are just as beautiful. My mom was so very pleased with his attention to detail and his depth of knowledge that she recommended that I take my nightstand, that I inherited from my aunt and uncle, right on over to Rob. So I did. Rob showed us pictures of many different projects that he's worked on over the years and WOW your eyes can't believe what they're seeing! He takes such great care of everyone's person... My aunt and uncle would have been amazed to see this lovely piece that they so cherished for 50 years bloom into something so awesome! The colors of the wood are just beautiful and the craftsmanship is excellent!! Another customer came in the store while I was wrapping up my transaction to pick up his headboard that was newly repaired after his puppy left his dental imprints. LOL! Rob did some terrific work for this man as well. No more teeth marks and the wood was as good as new! Beautiful! Five stars and a high five for you, Rob!!! Thank you for bringing back such a favored time piece for me and my family, again!! I'd recommend this place to anyone, it's a hidden gem. 🙂
