My husband and I decided to do a whole kitchen renovation. For years, I dreamed about having a white, light kitchen. My kitchen previously was dark, with black and brown colors throughout. A few years ago we got our master bathroom cabinets painted, and unfortunately it wasn’t very durable, in an area that isn’t highly trafficked. I searched for a better answer, did a lot of research and came across Resurrect Wood Refinishing.
Brandon was my contact person from the very beginning. He was very informative, and answered all of the many questions. At the time, I was still debating between getting the cabinets painted and the refinishing with Resurrect. He explained that their process makes the cabinets feel and look like a factory finish, adding the durability and longevity. Despite the refinishing being a higher price tag than traditional painting, Brandon sold me on their product. Brandon and Erin (owner) actually made an extra stop at my house so I could physically feel a finished product again before committing. Erin was so friendly to my 1.5 year old daughter, and played with her while I asked further questions. My daughter thought she was so much fun!
From start to finish, my cabinets were finished in a week. They were at my house 3 total days (prep, spraying cabinet boxes and finishing day) and sprayed my cabinet doors at their shop in between.
It’s a small, family owned business made up of Erin (owner), Brandon (her nephew) and John (her dad), and they all were pleasant to work with. After getting to know them, they truly all are incredible people, and I felt great giving my business to them.
Once my cabinets were finished, Erin walked around the kitchen with me and made sure I was happy with the finished product. She fixed any areas that needed touch ups and has made sure I was satisfied every step of the way.
I highly recommend using Resurrect Wood Refinishing for your cabinets, and would recommend them to all of my family and friends. It’s worth the extra money to get a high quality finish. I’m looking forward to letting my kids back in the kitchen again to see how the cabinets hold up!
Edit: I was having some issues with areas that Erin originally came back to touch up, as well as some other areas that just weren’t holding up/ already chipping. Erin did not hesitate to come back out to fix ALL of the issues and make it right. It’s evident she cares about her work and its integrity. She wants her customers happy, but she also knows the work is a direct reflection on her and her company. Erin runs her company with integrity and honesty, and will go the extra length to ensure what you’re paying for is worth it. You can trust your cabinets with this business.

Update: 2 years later and my kitchen cabinets still look brand new! No chipping, no peeling, perfect! I simply wipe them down with a damp cloth and they clean like a dream. I loved what Erin and team did so much that I brought them back to do my upstairs bathroom cabinets. She matched the color I asked for perfectly and were done so FAST! Wow! Wow! Wow! I could not be happier with Resurrect Wood Refinishing! They took my dark old kitchen and made it light and bright. They were able to take out my wine rack and have a custom door made to close it in so that I have more storage. Then they took a door off my island and installed a small beverage cooler, it's so cool!! Also they added trim to the bottom of my upper cabinets so that it looks super rich and installed soft closures on my doors! No more slamming! They also did my powder room and it is so elegant. Erin and Brandon made the process so fast and easy, I couldn't believe it! They were professional, the quality of the work really exceeded my expectations and the price was amazing for the quality! I feel like I went from a low quality kitchen to a high end kitchen and I am so excited! I have attached before and after photos. Don't look any farther, I highly recommend!
