I really, really love this places style and service. I bought my first PC here and im still using it to this day with no issues, although recently I bought a laptop from them. (Id like to preface this by saying they called me back, and made it right very quickly they offered me a trade in for a laptop as close as possible in quality, and kicked back the remainder I spent, the manger called and was super nice. The laptop was one of the biggest tech purchases I had ever made and I was excited to see how great it was going to be, the service was quick and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes with a laptop last week just before close. Unfortunately by the time I had gotten home, I had already noticed that one of the keys was broken, not springing up when pressed or staying attached to the board. After a few days I was finally able to get to the store right before close once again (sorry about that), and ask about a repair, they said it would be an easy fix and the only reason they couldn't do it immediately was because they were soon to close, but they would call me Monday to pick it up. By Tuesday I felt the need to check in and see how it was going, so I call to see where they were at in the process and ask about when it may be ready. They tell me that there's an issue with the hardware that needs to be replaced and they were working on getting me an estimate, I think I am understandably a bit upset that the laptop I had just purchased less than a week ago, and not even had time to log in on or use, may be costing me money in repairs. This latest call just happened, and im hopeful that the estimate will be low enough that I can just brush it off and continue loving this place. But I am worried that I may not feel comfortable shopping or recommending Really Cheap Geeks to others anymore. I did love the robot on the shelf though, so thats three stars from me (as stated early they made everything right, and i am a really cheap geeks fan forever!!!!)
