I've been going to RACE for a couple years now and they do fantastic work, at a reasonable price. They're wonderful to work with, flexible, creative and overall make the whole process easy. Highly experienced with metal fab, machining, welding, powdercoating, and the list goes on. Don't expect some fancy showroom, just people who know their craft and do excellent quality work. I ran into a roadblock while attempting to install a roof rack on my truck. The build uses 4"L x 1.5"W x 1s"D steel washers with dual 10mm openings. The rack uses these washers to bolt to the existing rail system on the truck. However, one of the four was too long to slide into the rail system. I decided the best option was to cut one in half. Having no way to cut a steel plate, I did a quick google search and found Race Machine right away. I made a call and the guy who answered told me it would be no problem after filling him in. I had two sets of Gorge Windsurfing Metal Rax's that are used on top of my car to carry boards. They were rusting and had pitted holes in some of the brackets. A total of 16 pieces that were welded, cleaned up and powder coated. They came out so amazing, better than the factory. I would use these guys anytime and trust they stand behind all their work.
