Dear drivers, do not come here at all. The owner of this place is a very dishonest and lying person. I broke down on Saturday and brought my truck here on Sunday. He checked it and told me the parts I needed. I went and found them in Albuquerque and brought them back. He said he would fix it if I paid the first dollar. The owner of this place is bad. He charged me $2000 for the mechanic. He worked for 3 hours. This is a very bad owner. If you want to save money, do not come here.

We had broke down at the Loves Truck Stop on a Thursday afternoon at 4:30pm, we tried for 3 hours to get a tow truck to assist us. Finally there was one person that came to see if he could at least help diagnose the issue. When the person got to us he found that the cable that goes from the shifter to the transmission had melted on the exhaust pipe. We contacted Richard from RG Truck Service and he said if we could get our RV to his shop he would start working on it Friday morning. The guy that came to diagnose the problem assisted us with getting the RV in drive so we can drive it to RG Truck Service shop. We contacted Richard from RG Truck Service and he said if we could get our RV to his shop he would start working on it Friday morning. The guy that came to diagnose the problem assisted us with getting the RV in drive so we can drive it to RG Truck Service shop. We got to the shop at 8:00 pm, Richard said he would try to get a new cable from his supplier. I contacted the local Ford dealer and they said the part would be in the next day. The owner of RG Truck Service said we capsule stay in the RV on the property until the RV was fixed. The part came in the next day and RG’s service technician started working on our RV, he had the RV up and running in 2 hours, the service technician even went as far as to install a cable clamp on the cable to keep it from it the exhaust again. We were very happy with the service and the amount we were billed for the service call. If we were ever in the Gallup, NM area, we would use RG Truck Service again. They were very easy to deal with… Richard was fantastic to deal with on this service…

Our diesel motorhome overheated and shut down on a Saturday afternoo when we were on I-40 about 25 miles or so from Gallup. We managed to get off the exit ramp and under the overpass and begin to make roadside assistance calls. When I found the listing for RG Truck service and called, Richard answered and said there was no one available on Saturday, but he could havd someone out to us by 9:00 am Sunday morning. We were unable to find towing or any other kind of response.
The technician arrived as promised in the morning, found the problem, fixed it and replaced relaced coolant. The tow man said, Hey, Lady, you are lucky, these tires were about to go rolling down the road on their own. He also said, you are lucky, all you need are new rims, the bearings are fine. Don't let anyone tell you different. I told him that the Lord was watching out for us, and he agreed. He towed us to RG Truck Services like I asked. The next morning, Richard was at a doctor's appointment. the two guys working there also told me, I just needed rims. It would be 2 days to get the right size in. the next day, Richard shows up, oh, you have to have new bearings, etc, etc, He said it would be the following mon or tues. This was on Wednesday morning, June 12, 2024. The incident happened on Monday afternoon. Well, I had a puppy to deliver to CA, and I really could not be gone from home in MO that long, so I got a car rental on Wednesday, and was back to Gallup by Sat night, late. I had asked them to keep an eye on the RV fridge, running on propane, because it would go off sometimes. I called them every morning, like Richard told me, to check in and remind them of the fridge. Shoot, the batteries were totally dead, I got a motel. Sunday morning, the fridge was an absolute mess. Blood from meat in the freezer was dripping every where. I spent several hours getting it cleaned up. Monday, I still had the car rental, went to town, first thing, to get some craft items, giving me something to do. Shoot, I got back, say, at 9:30 - they were working on the RV. Parts had come in??? Richard comes knocking, gives me a bill for 7,010. and change. What???? Are you kidding me???? I had not been able to get a hold of the warranty people before the work was done. Now they were sketchy about approving it. The man told me, Richard was way, way, WAY, out of line on his prices. He needed to have the part numbers written down. Richard said he would do that. He told his guys to quit working on the RV, until we paid. He won't take credit cards, or checks. Yelled and cussed at me for 20 min. because I asked nicely about the amount he was charging. DO NOT GO HERE.
