I usually get a few quotes when looking at major house projects and did the same for garage doors since both of our doors were original to the house and 30 years old. They were the older wood paneled and heavy doors that were falling apart and looked rough. On a Wednesday when closing my garage door, I heard a big crash. I could not get my garage open manually. Luckily my general contractor was across the street and with his help, we got it opened.
