The final solution using TimberTech decking and Trex Signature railings was even better than we hoped for. The structure is solid, the product is fantastic and the workmanship is excellent. We expect this new porch/deck to look and perform like new for a very long time, with minimal maintenance.

My mother and father-in-law live in Schaumburg and were interested in replacing their deck on the back of the house. They spend a ton of time on their deck, which my father-in-law maintained over the years by himself. However, it was at the point where it needed major renovation work. Plus there were a number of places where the deck needed to be redesigned to make it safer for the two of them (They are both in their late 80's).
I told them to work with Platinum Decking, who a friend of mine worked with to replace their deck (and was very happy).
