This dealer does not stand behind his "jobs". He blames everyone but himself for poor craftsmanship and did not notify me that they would not laying the new flooring under all kitchen appliances. Three times I notified dealer that there was an issue with the tile laid in the kitchen & only when I sent my property manager in to ask them to examine the issue did I get a visit from the dealer. I learned at that time that the new flooring was NOT installed under the dishwasher. This was an $11,000 job, paid in cash & they chose not to inform me at the time that they did not install new product under all appliances & I paid the price. In my last home I had waterproof vinyl installed & it was placed under ALL kitchen appliances. This dealer did not take any responsibility for not informing me & for not examining the finished installation. He was quick to blame "settling" of my 40 year old house, poor installation work & saying that they NEVER install in places with a water connection. He backed down on that statement when I pointed out that the flooring was installed under my refridgerator (with an ice maker) and installed in all 3 bathrooms with toilets, showers & sinks. Be careful! Check all details, quality of work & do not count on warranties because workmanship does not come with a warranty. Results, I had my own property manager repair the slow leak & to replace the subfooring in front of the dishwasher. Plains then billed me for nearly $1,100 to reinstall the damaged waterproof vinyl. I would not recommend this flooring dealer.
