Wow. Where to even start. If it were possible to leave zero stars, I would. It all started out fine. Bob, who I believe is the owner, arrived to give me the quote, gave me a reasonable quote, and then ordered our materials. He told us the materials would arrive in two weeks. Then, when they didn’t, we called to check the status of the order. He told us he didn’t know because he “doesn’t ever call the supplier,” but he said he would call us when the materials were in. A week and a half later, Bob calls to tell me that someone will come by tomorrow to drop off the materials. Sure enough, the guys come the following day to drop off materials. Bob says he’ll call when they’re ready to install. He refuses to give us an estimate of when it will be. But then, someone calls a few days later and says they’re 20 minutes away and they’re coming to install the fence right NOW. No one appears to have given the installer any information about the site, because he has to go home to get a cart since he can’t drive his truck into our backyard. Then, when he arrives, he doesn’t actually have the right equipment for the job so he can’t do it. He literally knows nothing about the job because neither Bob nor the team who dropped off the materials have told him anything about the job. He says, “There’s been a miscommunication. Bob will call you.” We wait three days waiting for Bob’s call before finally caving and calling Pinecrest to figure out what went wrong and what the new timeline will be. We leave two voicemails over a period of four days. Finally, Bob calls us a full week after his team showed up to our house and didn’t have the right tools to do the job for which we have already paid half. Instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding and giving us a new timeline for when our fence would be installed, he proceeds to verbally abuse my husband and myself. He unleashes a litany of abuse at us, but it included things like, “I told you not to call me,” “you’re not listening to me, you’re only interested in yourself,” “I’m having a $150,000 pool installed at my house (???),” and a number of other vile and unprofessional statements all revolving around the fact that he simply does NOT want people to call him. At all. What a way to run a business! In the end, he simply refused to do the job. Now we have a bunch of fencing in our backyard, which has been rendered completely unusable. Thanks for nothing, Pinecrest!
Can't seem to get them to do the work for which they've received partial payment. I hope they are trustworthy.
Constantly putting up the fence at the wrong locations a week after.at this moment I'm pulling the fences away from a wheelchair ramp at the wrong house Bob said he wants to fight me so I'm going to stop the review I'm going to go see Bob
These people are TRULY unprofessional. The initial sign that the “business” (I use this term loosely) wasn’t client-focused or professional is there are different contact #s on line for them. When you call either of the listed numbers, there is someone’s personal cell phone where you can leave a vm. No mention is made of the business, at all. You have NO idea if those numbers are affiliated with Pinecrest unless someone calls you back. A young woman did and said that they were busy and she would call me the following week to schedule an apptmt. She NEVER called back. I called them again the next week and she had no recollection that I had called the prior wk, couldn’t recall our prior conversation, & forgot that she assured she would call me to schedule a consultation. We then established a time for someone to come. He came a half an hour early & was sloppy with his measurements, unprofessional & asked what other competitors that I’d had come out charged. When I responded that I wasn’t going to share that info he said’ “ it doesn’t matter. Our prices are our prices.” If that were the case, why did he ask at all? I was UNDERwhelmed with the experience. He advised that he would email me the estimate and never did & that was over a month ago. I perceived that he believed that because my neighborhood is a bit unstable that I was gauche and possibly ignorant & unrefined. Never judge a book by its cover...I have a few graduate degrees. That said, these people are a hoax & would never get my business or recommendation.
This place has horrible customer service. I called to see if I could get a quote and the gentleman who answered was so rude and unprofessional!! I guess they don’t need the business.
Are you sure you want to continue?
